Part-Time Volunteer Coordinator/Scheduler
Position Summary:
We are looking for a part-time Volunteer Coordinator/Scheduler to oversee volunteer recruitment, scheduling, and engagement. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has excellent organizational skills, and is passionate about making a difference. The Volunteer Coordinator/Scheduler plays a crucial role in ensuring Maddie’s Place operates smoothly by recruiting, organizing, and supporting volunteers who provide essential care and services to the infants and families we serve. By maintaining an engaged and well-prepared volunteer team, this position directly enhances our capacity to deliver compassionate care and fulfill our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, onboard, and schedule volunteers based on the needs of Maddie’s Place.
- Maintain an up-to-date volunteer database and scheduling system.
- Communicate regularly with volunteers to confirm schedules and provide necessary information.
- Collaborate with leadership to determine volunteer needs.
- Ensure volunteers are properly trained and prepared for their roles.
- Recognize and appreciate volunteers for their contributions.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in volunteer coordination, scheduling, or administration preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for community service and volunteer engagement.
- Comfortable with technology and volunteer management platforms.
Hours & Compensation:
- Part-time to start, approximately 20 hours per week
- Flexible schedule with potential for remote work

ICS Job Duties:
Providing infant care:
Making bottles, changing diapers, bathing, feeding, holding/consoling, occupational therapy exercises with babies
Household Chores and Tasks:
Cleaning & sanitizing, laundry, sweeping/vacuuming
This position requires the ability to be active, move on and off the floor easily, wear babies with wraps for extended lengths of time, lift/carry up to 30 pounds, and be on your feet a majority of the day.
The ICS work within a team alongside nurses, volunteer, parents, therapists, admin, pediatrician, etc. ICS support parents and family members of the infants, acting as a positive role model who is encouraging but can teach caregiving skills.
Pay: $21-23/hr
